Spice Up Your Holiday Feast with This Homemade Honey Apple Pudding

Honey Apple Pudding



2 cups stewed apples

1 cup honey

1/2 cup brown sugar

4 tablespoons shortening

2 cups fine bread crumbs

1 1/2 cups flour

2 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon cloves



Combine all ingredients and beat until thoroughly mixed. Pour into a baking dish and bake for 35 minutes at 300ºF. Serve the pudding with a thin applesauce that has been sweetened with honey.
