No-Cook Pasta Sauce Recipe

Dr. Sonali Ruder, author of Natural Pregnancy Cookbook and Natural Baby Food, appeared on Dr. Oz this week and prepared 3 no-cook pasta sauces that are delicious, healthy, and more importantly, super easy to do.

Pasta with No-Cook Tomato Sauce

2 pints red and yellow cherry or grape tomatoes halved
3 cloves garlic finely chopped
½ cup basil leaves chopped
½ cup parsley chopped
¼ teaspoon chili flakes
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup olive oil
8 ounces dry spaghetti
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. Place the tomatoes, garlic, basil, parsley, chili flakes, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a large bowl.

2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

3. Toss the pasta with the sauce. Add some of the reserved pasta water as needed to coat the pasta. Top with Parmesan cheese.
